Why is my thermostat display blank?

A blank display can be caused by several issues: the circuit breaker may need to be reset, the power switch at the heating and cooling system may be off, or the furnace door may not be closed securely. If the thermostat is battery powered, make sure fresh AA alkaline batteries are correctly installed. (Page 18)
