Keep components in their electrostatic-safe containers until ready to install, discharge static electricity before touching any electronic component, and avoid touching pins, leads, and circuitry. Place any removed component into an electrostatic-safe container immediately. A product can be degraded by as little as 700 V of electrostatic discharge, so use a grounded wrist strap or foot strap and work on a grounded surface. (Page 26)
