How do I remove the battery from the HP 255 G6?

First shut down the computer, disconnect all external devices, and unplug the AC adapter. Then position the computer upside down on a flat surface, slide the battery lock latch to unlock the battery, slide the battery release latch to release it, and remove the battery. The battery release latch automatically returns to its original position after releasing. (Page 30)
