What should I do if my HP 255 G6 gets too hot during use?
Do not place the device directly on your lap or obstruct the device air vents — use it only on a hard, flat surface. Do not allow pillows, rugs, clothing, or other soft surfaces to block airflow. The internal fan is designed to cycle on and off automatically during routine operation to cool internal components, which is normal behavior. Allow at least 7.6 cm (3.0 in) of clearance on the left side of the computer where exhaust air is displaced through the ventilation grill. (Page 3, Page 62)
