How do I set the HP Deskjet 2050 as the default printer on Windows?
On Windows 7, go to Start menu and click Devices and Printers; on Windows Vista, go to Start > Control Panel > Printer; on Windows XP, go to Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. Check that your printer has a checkmark in the circle next to it, and if not, right-click the printer icon and choose 'Set as Default Printer' from the menu. (Page 2)
