What should I do if I cannot print a test page and the Windows software installation fails?

Remove the CD and disconnect the USB cable, restart the computer, and temporarily disable any software firewall and close any anti-virus software. Then insert the printer software CD and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall, making sure not to connect the USB cable until prompted. After installation finishes, restart the computer.
