What is the warranty period for the HP Deskjet 2540 printer and its ink cartridges?

The printer itself carries a 1-year limited warranty, while software media is covered for 90 days. Print or ink cartridges are warranted until the HP ink is depleted or the 'end of warranty' date printed on the cartridge is reached, whichever comes first. This warranty does not cover HP ink products that have been refilled, remanufactured, refurbished, misused, or tampered with. (Page 6)
