What should I do if USB printing fails and software installation doesn't work?

Remove the CD from the drive and disconnect the USB cable from the computer. Restart the computer, insert the printer software CD, and follow the on-screen instructions without connecting the USB cable until instructed. After installation finishes, restart the computer again. (Page 3)
