Can I use non-HP cartridges in my HP DeskJet 3700?

While using a non-HP cartridge or refilled cartridge does not affect your warranty or HP support contract, if printer failure or damage is attributable to the use of a non-HP, refilled, or expired ink cartridge, HP will charge standard time and materials charges to service the printer for that particular failure or damage.
