How do I fix choppy or laggy video playback from my webcam?
Reduce the webcam's resolution setting to improve playback performance. In the HP Webcam Control Center, select 'Take Videos or Photos,' go to Settings, and choose a lower value for the Resolution setting. Video quality is affected by lighting, processor speed, RAM, and internet connection speed. (Page 11)
