How do I fix lines appearing on the video image?

Lines on the image can be fixed by adjusting the line frequency setting. Select 'Take Videos or Photos' in the HP Webcam Control Center, choose Settings and then Advanced Settings, and select the line frequency (anti-flicker) value corresponding to your location—either 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Incorrect settings can cause unwanted lines to appear in the image.
