How do I fix unwanted lines appearing in the webcam image?

Adjust the line frequency (anti-flicker) setting to match your country's power supply frequency. In HP Webcam Control Center, select 'Record Videos or Photos,' go to Settings, then Advanced Settings, and select either 50 Hz or 60 Hz depending on your location.
