Why can't the HP Smart software find my printer during setup?

Several conditions can prevent the software from finding your printer, including the printer exiting Wi-Fi setup mode, your computer or mobile device being too far from the printer, Bluetooth being turned off on your device, or Location services being disabled on a mobile device. Ensure Bluetooth and Location services are enabled, as they help the software find your network and printer — no location data is sent to HP during this process. (Page 3)
