How do I clean the printer and how often should I do it?

Unplug the product before cleaning to avoid shock hazard. Clean the outside with a water-dampened cloth and the inside with only a dry, lint-free cloth. Perform thorough cleaning any time a new print cartridge is installed, after printing approximately 2,000 pages, and whenever print quality problems appear. Do not use ammonia-based or ethyl alcohol-based cleaners.
