What is the warranty coverage for the HP LaserJet 1010 series printer?

The HP LaserJet 1010 series has a one-year limited warranty from date of purchase. HP warrants that hardware and accessories will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. If HP receives notice of defects during the warranty period, HP will either repair or replace products which prove to be defective. Warranty does not apply to defects resulting from improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, misuse, or operation outside published environmental specifications.
