How can I factory reset my HP LaserJet Pro 4001 printer?
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until the LED starts flashing red. This clears all settings and resets it to factory defaults and users will need to re-pair connected devices after resetting (Page 63).
