How do I set up fax on the HP OfficeJet 3830?

You can set up fax using the HP printer software (recommended) or from the printer control panel. For Windows, use the Fax Wizard during software installation or access it afterward through the printer software's Print, Scan & Fax tab. For OS X, use Basic Fax Settings from the HP Utility after software installation, or touch Fax on the Home screen and then touch Setup on the printer display.
