How do I set up the fax on my HP Officejet 4650?

Connect the phone line to the port labeled 1-LINE on the back of the printer. Then from the Home screen on the control panel display, touch Fax, touch Setup, touch Setup Wizard, and follow the on-screen instructions to test the fax setup. The test checks hardware, verifies phone cord type and connection status, and checks for a dial tone and active phone line.
