How do I set up the HP OfficeJet 4650 to automatically receive faxes?

Make sure the printer is turned on and paper is loaded, then from the Home screen touch Fax, then Setup, then Preferences, and turn the Auto Answer option on. Note that if you have a telephone answering machine connected, the printer's Rings to Answer setting must be set to a higher number than the answering machine. If you have subscribed to a voice mail service on the same phone line, you cannot receive faxes automatically and must respond in person to incoming fax calls. (Page 7)
