How do I set up Wireless Direct to print without a router?

From the Home screen of your printer's display, touch the Wireless icon, then Settings, then Wireless Direct. Touch Wireless Direct and select either On (No Security) or On (With Security). HP recommends turning on security so only users with the password can print. Then touch Display Name to view the Wireless Direct name, and from your device, search for and connect to that name to print wirelessly.
