The printer software installation failed. What should I do?

Remove the CD and disconnect the printer from your computer, then restart your computer. Temporarily disable any software firewall and close anti-virus software. Insert the printer software CD and follow the onscreen instructions, but do not connect the USB cable until instructed. After installation completes, restart your computer and re-enable any security software you disabled. (Page 4)
