What should I do if I'm unable to print?

First, check for error messages and resolve them. Make sure your HP Photosmart is set as the default printer and is not offline by checking Devices and Printers (Windows 7), Printers (Windows Vista), or Control Panel > Printers and Faxes (Windows XP). If the printer appears offline, right-click the printer icon and ensure that 'Use Printer Offline' and 'Pause Printing' are not selected. (Page 4)
