How do I safely move the HP Smart Tank 580 to prevent ink leaks?

Before moving the printer, turn it off, remove the power cord, and ensure the print carriage is all the way to the left. Insert a cardboard restraint into the printhead cover area and close the front door, then pack the printer in a box if available. While moving, keep the printer horizontal at all times to prevent ink leakage. (Page 7)
