How do I load paper into the standard paper input tray?

Open the input tray, slide the paper-width guides to the edges, insert paper in portrait orientation with the print side facing down, align the stack with the appropriate paper size lines, and adjust the guides until they touch the paper edges. Then close the input tray and pull out the output tray extender.
