What should I check if my monitor appears blank during operation?

Plug the monitor into a different video port on the computer if one is available, verify that both the computer and monitor are plugged into a working electrical outlet, turn the monitor on and check if the green monitor light is on, and turn up the brightness and contrast controls if the monitor appears dim. If the internal display on an all-in-one computer is blank, open the computer and make sure the graphics card is properly installed. (Page 38)
