How do I perform a System Recovery on Windows 7 using the recovery partition?

Turn off the workstation, disconnect all peripheral devices except the monitor, keyboard, and mouse, then press the power button. As soon as the HP logo screen appears, repeatedly press F11 until the 'Windows is Loading Files...' message appears, then follow the on-screen instructions in the HP Recovery Manager.
