Can I erase diagnostic trouble codes from my vehicle's computer?

Yes, you can erase DTCs using the Code Reader's ERASE function. After performing the Code Retrieval Procedure and displaying the codes, press and release the ERASE button, and the LCD will display 'SurE' for confirmation. Press ERASE again to complete the erasure. However, if you plan to take the vehicle to a Service Center for repair, you should NOT erase the codes as valuable diagnostic information will be lost.
