How do I replace the batteries in the Innova 3100 Code Reader?

Locate the battery cover on the back of the Code Reader, then lift the cover off using your finger or a small coin. Replace the old batteries with two AA-size batteries — alkaline-type batteries are recommended for longer life — then reinstall the battery cover. The tool will warn you of a low battery condition by flashing the battery icon and all three LEDs every second for 10 seconds when powered on. (Page 7)
