Why won't my surface burners light?

The most common causes are that the surface control knob has not been completely turned to the LITE position, or the burner ports are clogged. Push in and turn the knob to LITE until the burner ignites, or use a small-gauge wire or needle to clean clogged ports with the burner off. On electric ignition models, also check that the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet. (Page 13)
