What electrical connection options are available when installing this dryer?

The dryer supports both 4-wire and 3-wire receptacle connections. Use Option 1 (4-wire connection) if your home has a NEMA type 14-30R receptacle; use Option 2 or 3 if your home has a 3-wire NEMA type 10-30R receptacle, depending on whether local codes permit connecting a chassis ground to the neutral connector.
