Can I use commercial oven cleaner on the self-cleaning oven?

No commercial oven cleaner or oven liner protective coating of any kind should be used in or around any part of the oven. If cleaners are used and the oven is not wiped absolutely clean, the residue can scar the oven surface and damage metal parts the next time the oven is automatically cleaned. (Page 23)
