Can children use the microwave oven, and are there any supervision requirements?

Children may use the appliance if they have been given supervision or instruction on safe use and understand the hazards involved, but children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are supervised. When the appliance is operated in combination mode, children should only use the oven under adult supervision due to the high temperatures generated. (Pages 4–6)
