How do I properly secure the brackets to the Kenmore Stackable Washer and Dryer?

Attach the double-faced tape bracket to the appliance so the bent parts align with the edge and can be attached to the pedestal with screws. Attach the lower side first and be sure to press the adhesive parts of the brackets firmly to the appliance before installing the eight screws. (Pages 4-5)
