How do I clean the needles on my Keurig K-Duo to prevent grounds in my coffee?

For the exit needle, remove the K-Cup pod holder, detach the funnel, and insert a straightened paper clip into the exit needle to loosen any coffee grounds. For the entrance needles, lift the handle and carefully insert a straightened paper clip into all the holes on the underside of the lid, then lower the handle and run a cleansing brew twice. (Page 5)
