What do I need to do before brewing my first cup with the Keurig K-Supreme Plus?

Remove the packing tape from the brewer, plug it into a grounded outlet, and place a large mug (10oz minimum) on the drip tray. Rinse the water reservoir with fresh water and fill it to the MAX FILL line, then run a cleansing brew using the 8oz button without inserting a K-Cup pod. Pour the hot water from the cleansing brew into the sink before your first real brew. (Page 3-4)
