What happens if I start the drive into a spinning motor without DC injection braking?

Starting a drive into a free-wheeling motor creates a direct short-circuit and may result in damage to the drive. You must use the DC injection braking function (parameter P110) to bring free-wheeling loads such as fans to a rest before starting, and confirm motor suitability for this function.
