What happens if the EPM module is missing or removed from the drive?
If the EPM is missing, the drive will trigger an F.F1 fault and will not operate. The EPM must be installed for the drive to function, as it contains the drive's operational memory and all parameter settings. While the EPM can be removed for copying purposes, it must be reinstalled before running the drive. (Page 26)
