What should I do with the first batch of ice and water after installing the refrigerator?

Discard the first 20 cubes of ice and approximately 7 glasses of water produced after installation. The initial ice and water may contain odors or particles from the tubing or the water supply box. This step should also be repeated if the refrigerator has not been used for a long period of time. (Page 18)
