What type of batteries does the remote control require, and are rechargeable batteries acceptable?
The remote control requires two new AAA 1.5V batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries, and make sure both batteries are new. To prevent discharge, remove the batteries from the remote control if the air conditioner will not be used for an extended period of time. (Page 8)
