Why won't my dishwasher start even after I select a cycle?

If the START button is not pressed after selecting a cycle, the START button light will flash, an audible tone will be heard, and the cycle will not start. Make sure the door is firmly closed and latched, then press the START keypad. Also check that the Control Lock feature is not activated — if the lock indicator is lit, press and hold CONTROL LOCK for 3 seconds to turn it off. (Page 5, 10, 12)
