Why is my dryer not heating even though the drum is turning?

Electric dryers use two household fuses or circuit breakers, and if one has blown or tripped, the drum may still turn but there will be no heat. Check that both fuses are intact and tight or that both circuit breakers have not tripped, and replace fuses or reset the breaker as needed. Electric dryers require a 240-volt power supply, so if the problem continues, call a qualified electrician. For gas dryers, also ensure the valve on the gas supply line is open. (Page 15)
