How do I deep clean the lint screen when detergent residue builds up?

You should clean the lint screen with a nylon brush every 6 months, or more frequently if it becomes clogged. Wet both sides of the screen with hot water, scrub with a nylon brush and liquid detergent, rinse with hot water, and thoroughly dry with a clean towel before reinstalling. A clogged screen can cause longer drying times or cause the dryer to stop before the load is dry. (Page 8)
