How often should I clean the lint screen?

The lint screen should be cleaned before or after each load. Pull the lint screen straight up, roll lint off with your fingers, and do not rinse or wash it to remove lint. Push the lint screen firmly back into place. For residue buildup from detergent or fabric softener, clean the lint screen with a nylon brush every 6 months or more frequently if clogged.
