Why are my clothes taking too long to dry?

The most common causes are a clogged lint screen, an exhaust vent blocked with lint, or an overloaded dryer. You can check airflow by running the dryer for 5–10 minutes and holding your hand under the outside exhaust hood — if you feel no air movement, clean or replace the exhaust vent. Also ensure the vent diameter is 4" (102 mm) and the room temperature is above 45°F (7°C). (Page 9)
