Why does my Maytag dryer have no heat even though the drum is turning?

A blown household fuse or tripped circuit breaker is the most likely cause, since electric dryers use two household fuses or circuit breakers — the drum can turn even when one is blown but there will be no heat. Replace both fuses or reset the circuit breaker, and if the problem continues, call a qualified electrician. For gas dryers, also ensure the valve is open on the gas supply line. (Page 9)
