Why is lint accumulating on my clothes?

A clogged lint screen is the most common cause of lint on clothes. The lint screen should be cleaned before each load. Additionally, laundry detergent and fabric softener residue can build up on the lint screen and cause longer drying times. Clean the lint screen with a nylon brush every 6 months or more frequently if it becomes clogged.
