What should I do to prepare my washer before its very first use?
Before washing clothes for the first time, run one cycle without any laundry by selecting the NORMAL cycle. Use only HE detergent — about half the manufacturer's recommended amount for a medium-size load. This initial cycle ensures the interior is clean before washing clothes.
