How do I determine the correct weld cable size for my setup?

Use the cable size chart provided in Section 5-10, which is based on total cable length in the weld circuit (the combined length of both weld cables) and the welding amperes. For example, if the power source is 100 ft from the workpiece, the total cable length is 200 ft. Cable size must account for both the distance and duty cycle to prevent overheating. (Page 20)
