How do I activate the dry charge battery and connect it to the Big Blue 400D?

Remove the battery from the unit and fill each cell with sulfuric acid electrolyte (1.265 specific gravity) to the bottom of the well. Wait ten minutes and check the level, adding more electrolyte if necessary. Reinstall the vent caps. Charge the battery for either 12 minutes at 30 amperes or 30 minutes at 5 amperes using a battery charger. Then reconnect the negative (−) cable last, connecting positive first, and reinstall the battery cover.
