For a welding current of 250 amperes with a total cable circuit length of 200 feet (60 meters), the recommended cable size is 2/0 AWG (70 mm²). The total circuit length is the combined length of both welding cables — for example, if the power source is 100 feet from the work, the total circuit length is 200 feet. For distances over 100 feet (30 meters), only DC output should be used. (Page 17)
